CHOCOLATE ALMOND BUTTER ICE CREAM

This vegan chocolate almond butter ice cream is so good and creamy. Naturally sweetened, dairy free and so rich that you won’t even notice it’s a healthy version.
The flavor combination is amazing! It is so chocolatey and the almond butter works perfectly with it.

Ingredients

For the almond butter frozen balls:
  • ¼ cup Kevala's Almond Butter Creamy.

For the ice cream:
· 1 can coconut cream 
¼ cup Kevala's Oaxaca Honey or Kevala's Agave Syrup
· ¼ cup Kevala's Almond Butter
· 2 tbsp Kevala's Cacao Powder
· 1 tsp vanilla extract
· ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
For the almond butter frozen balls:
1. Cover a baking pan with wax paper. Drop 1 tsp of almond butter on the waxed paper. Put in the freezer to harden.

For the ice-cream: 
1. Add all ice cream ingredients to your blender.
2. Blend for 30-60 seconds or until your mixture is smooth and uniform. 
3. Turn your ice cream maker on and pour your mixture into the machine while it is spinning. 
4. Let your ice cream churn for about 20-25 minutes until it becomes a firm ball or the ice cream maker stops rotating.
5. Add the almond butter chunks at the end of the churning. You can add them to the ice cream maker just before the mixture becomes too hard, or you can mix them in by hand.
6. Transfer to an airtight freezer container and put in the freezer for at least 1 hour, or until completely frozen.
