Whisk together the milk, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, ground ginger, and black pepper in a saucepan. Set the saucepan to heat on high and bring to a boil.
Mix frequently to avoid the mixture from sticking on the bottom.
Once it boils, lower the heat for 4-5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, then add the honey along with vanilla extract, whisk again.
Cool the golden milk completely. Serve it with ice.
